Nostalgie Istanbul Orient Express is the best train in Russia passing this route and has nothing in common even with the 1st class 2-berth compartments in "firmenny" trains normally offered by travel agencies. It consists of 8 first-class sleeping carriages, containing private compartments with one lower or twin upper and lower beds, and a built-in washbasin with hot and cold running water. During the day, compartments are converted into comfortable salons. There are two dining carriages, a shower carriage, a Pullman car and a bar carriage, all of which are beautifully decorated with inlaid glass paneling.

Original carriages (sleeping, shower, Pullman and bar were built in England, Belgium, France and Italy in the 1920s-1930s and were the part of the legendary "Orient Express".
