Travel Policy

For all tours that are listed on our Web sites, the company will provide the interested customers with prices based on availability. For Join-In Tours, prices will always be consistent with those listed on the Web site or in any promotional materials published by the company.

In order to insure that a tour is obtained for the price quoted on the Web site OR in any supplementary promotional material OR by any official representative of the company and to secure a place in the group, the customer must provide payment according to the Payment Schedule valid for the selected type of service.

The Russian Railways reserve the right to change schedules without notice. In such a case your stay in the cities will be adjusted to meet the new schedules. 1st class upgrades might be changed to full 2nd class (2 berths, one upper and one lower per passenger, all compartment buy out for 2 passengers) and extra payment may apply. Overnight train Ulaanbaatar - Beijing goes once a week and might be replaced with airfare.

The company reserves the right to change the price of the tour in case of a) dramatic and unforseen change of transportation tariffs; b) fluctuation of ruble exchange rate by more than 10%.

Upon payment for a tour, the customer will receive within a 24-hour period a receipt of payment.

The letter of confirmation including all contact details of local offices, reservation numbers, seats numbers for rail journeys, timings of excursions etc is provided no earlier than 2 weeks and no later than 1 week before tour start date.

Payment Schedule for Tours

Payment schedule:
1) Deposit: 15% (but not less than $500 for Trans-Siberian journeys) at the moment of booking
2) 50% - in 60 days before the travel date
3) 75% - in 45 days before the travel date
4) 100% - in 30 days before the travel date
